As I sat down to write something about those milestone numbers I had an expectation – I felt I needed to write something exceptionally great. I felt like my writing needed to reflect the weight of those monumental numbers. I started writing several times and nothing seemed good enough. Everything I wrote fell short.
Then, I realized that no matter what words I put down on the paper, they would never measure up to what God has done through the people at Pulpit Rock that simply want to love their neighbors.

Those numbers are incredibly overwhelming to me. Never in my wildest dreams did I see Pulpit Rock reaching these milestones (not because I don’t think you’re awesome, you are some of the most awesome people I have ever met), but because those numbers seem like such a stretch – they seem too big.
Those numbers ARE too big. They are too big for us alone. Those are God sized numbers.

Those are numbers created by people like you listening to your hearts. Listening and following where God is leading you. Learning to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here in Colorado Springs. You have learned what it feels like to step in and simply say YES when God puts something on your heart.
I feel so incredibly blessed to be serving alongside all of you and would love to celebrate with you.
Please join me after second service (around 11:45 AM) for a celebration lunch on March 15th. We’ll meet in the Humblewood Workshop in Room 115 at Pulpit Rock Church. I will order pizza and maybe a cake and we can hang out and just enjoy some fellowship.
If you’re able, please bring one of the following items as your “ticket” for the lunch:
I’m hoping to get a good supply of these items built up so we are ready to respond to CarePortal requests as soon as they come through.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
